On 26th October we implemented some active protection measures to the "Żurawce" site. A group of volunteers from the Zamość Nature Association has worked for a couple of hours removing seedlings of expansive shrub species (Prunus spinosa and Cornus sanguinea) by hand or using a brushcutter. That way we managed to clear a 0,5-ha large fragment of dry grassland.
