To improve mobile pasturage on xerothermic grasslands in Nature 2000 Dolna Odra and Ujście Warty sites the shelters for animals were built. The shelters protect the animals from rain and sun. They are made of wood and their construction is very simple: on pine stumps a small roof made of boards was fixed. Additionally, one shelter was covered with "green roof" as an experiment. In this case, the boards on the roof were covered with soil. We hope that some plants will appear on the roof soon. All together 14 shelters were placed at different locations.
