The award granted to the Naturalists' Club and the Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection in Lublin
At 28th of February in the Institute of Central and Eastern Europe in Lublin the presentation of ecological award "Suse³ 2010" took place. The prize is given for merits in the field of nature conservation and ecological education within the Lublin Voivodeship. Among the organizations nominated there were Parczew Forest District Inspectorate, Hrubieszów Commune and Roztocze Nature Protection Horse Guard. The Naturalists' Club and the Regional Directorate of Environment Protection in Lublin were also nominated and awarded for nature protection in the region within the framework of the project "Protection of xerothermic grasslands in Poland - theory and practice". The laureate of the main "Suse³ 2010" prize became Micha³ Chomiuk, the organizer of activities for ecological education and actions against poaching in Lublin voivodeship.
