We are pleased to inform that part of Echium russicum seedlings introduced by us in autumn 2010 survived and achieved flowering stage! Moreover, some individuals from wild (i.e. not reintroduced) population also flowered and generated seeds and we are going to use the seeds to further reintroductions planned for next years. Activity related with preparing the grasslands (among others: removing of dead biomass of vegetation) for the reintroduction is going to be done during next months. The preparing was conducted by us together with Zamojskie Nature Association near Tyszowiec and Telatyn and it seems that this activity facilitated flowering of Echium russicum in the two localities.
