In 2012 we have fenced over 12.5 ha of xerothermic grasslands. The two patches of grasslands located on the grounds managed by the State Forests National Forest Holding have been fenced with temporary fence, and pasturage was conducted on these two patches. Another 4.4 ha of grasslands in Nawodna and 5.5ha in Raduń were fenced with very strong wooden fence. Besides vertical stems with electric isolations strong horizontal wooden elements were added to keep horses within the fenced area. Grasslands in these two localities will be utilized by local farmers on the basis of agreements signed with them - they are going to conduct pasturage with horses. Bark was removed from both vertical and horizontal elements in the fence which seems to looks nice and increases longevity of the fence. We are very happy from the cooperation with the general fence contractor who appeared to be very fast and effective.
