The extermination of the Sosnowsky's Hogweed (Action C2)
In 2012 we continue our fight with the giant Sosnowsky's Hogweed which poses a great potential threat to the Natura 2000 "Żurawce" site near the town of Lubycza Królewska in the Lublin province. The task was assigned to a group of workers who destroyed the hogweed plants using scythes in the areas surrounding the "Żurawce" site. The whole process was divided to a few stages in order to heavily weaken the hogweed. This year, the task was recorded by our filmmakers and the material will be featured in the upcoming film about dry grassland restoration.
